We are grateful for the flexibility and agility of our company. With responses from our Viewers, we have decided to rename our project and village. We think this new name is even closer to the meaning that we originally intended: Rainbird - colloquial name given to various birds thought to sing before rain, including the European green woodpecker, Jamaican lizard cuckoo, Pacific koel, channel-billed cuckoo, Burchell's coucal and black-faced cuckoo-shrike, as well as certain swifts (such as those in Utah) whose movements are thought to signal the coming of rain. We want to be a harbinger of good things to come. Our Permaculture designers will create a landscape, which when mature, will encourage more condensation and rain in the area. Come FLY with us. We are excited about the future.
